An Anchor A Weight

This was supposed to go towards infinity
with the fastest possible trajectory
passing through every sphere
as it avoided the pull of an orbit.
Possessing of the ability of
something more than
a usual everyday occurrence.

Mired down in memory
the mud and glue of a life
holding the pieces together
in place.
An anchor
a weight
(Fight on.)
a rock to lean on
to fight against
(Fight on.)
to debate the usefulness of
to question the existence of
(Always and forever.)
to give in to.
(Fight on.)
