an end (crisis averted)

we were holding on to one another
hoping that at the point of impact
(crisis averted)
we’d have just gone through the actions

leaves falling in the spring
having made it this far
pushed out by the next wave
photosynthesis pushing out the dead with a handshake

though they clung together
the end was fated
to come

    1. Thank you. IT’s been a bit too long, I have written about 15 poems in a journal that I keep but that’s about it.

I’d lie sometimes to people that asked if I still keep up with it. Honestly, I don’t know why I didn’t just fess up.

I’m happy to want to do this again though, I can tell you that for certain.
